New features

Layout Manager 2D/3D

Layout mode allows you to create a presentation of your design in construction drawings. Set up multiple design views, each using different scales and options. Create a customized sheet set. Easily add or change the order of pages. Annotate layout sheets with a variety of 2D CAD tools, labels, schedules and dimensions.

Improved deck, railing and stair options

Improved control over deck construction methods. You can now specify the pedestal height on decks, post width and height. Ability to set individual deck posts as support posts that extend to the ground. Specify post height for stairs and continuous handrails flush over posts. It also includes additional options for material application.

Additional new railing styles

16 new railing styles. Offset spindles, glass, wire, composites and custom material sections.

AEC & CAD symbol library

1146 new 2D CAD symbols have been added to the library. Improved control over symbol groups such as snapshots, ungrouping/ungrouping.

Photorendering (Luxcore)

The new photorendering engine is a physically based rendering solution (PBR) that uses state-of-the-art algorithms that simulate the flow of light according to physical equations. Also introduced is a new range of physically based materials with parameters based on the optical properties of metals, glass, matte, glossy and transparent surfaces. Combine PBR lighting and materials to produce stunning photographic quality images. Improved render times with responsive interruption. Customizable render settings allow you to control draft and final rendering time limits.

Glass window and door panes

Glass windows have been added to windows, doors and skylights for a more realistic look in the default rendering. Photo rendering with glass effect that replicates the properties of real double glazing style insulating glass.
